Prince George RCMP are warning the public to be on the lookout for known violent offender.

Trevor Lyndon Alexis, 31, is wanted on seven unendorsed warrants for breaking and entering, theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000, two counts of possession of a firearm without a licence, two counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited and breach of release order.

“Trevor Lyndon Alexis is violent and known to possess weapons,” Prince George RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jennifer Cooper said in a statement released on Friday. “If you locate him, contact your local police immediately. Police believe he poses significant risk to public safety.”

Alexis was released on conditions to attend probation and be fitted with an electronic monitoring device on April 13, RCMP say. He did not report to the probation office as directed and his whereabouts are not known to police.

Alexis is an Indigenous man, standing six-foot-two and weighing 210 pounds, with short black hair, brown eyes and a full sleeve of tattoos on one arm (which arm was unknown to police). He is known to travel between Prince George and Williams Lake.

Anyone with information about Alexis is asked to call Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300. Tips can also be made anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477), or online at www.northernbccrimestoppers.ca (English only).
