Prince George RCMP seek suspect in attempted sexual assault case

Prince George RCMP is currently investigating an attempted sexual assault, which took place near the 200 block of Ruggles Street.

On the evening of Monday, Dec. 3, a female under the age of 18 was walking alone in the area when a man approached her and pushed her down from behind.

The victim was able to get free and run away, according to a press release.

The suspect is described as:

  • Dark skinned male, possibly African descent
  • 20 to 30 years old
  • 183 cm (6'0")
  • Medium build
  • Very little or no hair (was wearing a toque)
  • Wearing a grey sweater and jeans

Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
