Prince George RCMP searching for suspect in shoplifting investigation

Mounties in Prince George is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect from a theft last month. 

Cpl. Craig Douglass says RCMP are investigating after receiving a report on Oct. 11, 2019 of theft from a large retail store located on Ferry Avenue.

The incident had actually happened two days earlier. 

The suspect left the store with more than $200 worth of merchandise in a concealed bag.

Store staff then confronted the person who dropped the bag and took off on foot. 

The suspect is described as: 

  • First Nations female
  • Approximately 40 years old
  • Brown eyes
  • Brown hair that may have been dyed lighter
  • Wearing a grey hoodie and a black toque with #1 on it
