Prince George RCMP searching for suspect in armed Gateway robbery

A man is being sought by Prince George Mounties after an armed robbery that took place in the Gateway on Monday (Nov. 4).

Around 2:30 a.m. that morning, a suspect reportedly pulled out an undisclosed weapon to a convenience store employee on 1500-block, 20 Ave., threatened them and fled off with a few packs of cigarettes.

RCMP were then called to the scene and efforts in trying to find the thief have come up short since, so they’re turning to the public for help.

The robber is described as:

  • First Nations man
  • Medium build
  • Dark hair
  • Wearing black hoodie, red shirt, black pants and a bandana over his face
