Prince George RCMP looking for suspect in December armed robbery

Police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect

Prince George RCMP Frontline police officers are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in an armed robbery at a gas station.

The robbery occurred on December 18, 2023. Police say the suspect entered a gas station on the 11400-block of Carmel Drive around 6:30 p.m. on that date and pointed a firearm at the lone employee, demanding money from the till.

“Police officers flooded the area and followed the suspect’s tracks for several blocks, where they found he had gotten into a waiting vehicle and left the area,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

“After processing the video surveillance from the gas station, we are releasing the video and several still photos of the suspect in the hopes that someone will recognize him and call police with the information.”

The suspect was seen wearing a black hoody with a photograph of the McLovin’ ID from the movie Superbad on the front, black pants and a black face covering.
