Prince George RCMP are investigating an aggravated assault in College Heights.

On Friday, Nov. 11 at about 11:45 p.m. frontline officers responded to a report of a stabbing on Stinger Crescent, near O’Grady Road.

Officers and other first responders arrived and located an adult male suffering from an apparent stab wound to the torso. He was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Two adult males were located and arrested in relation to this incident. Although the motive for the act is still under investigation, police say it appears that the victim and the offenders had some sort of disagreement before the attack.

According to court records, one of the males, Zain Xavier Wood, has since been charged with possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He was remanded in custody over the weekend pending a bail hearing today.
