Eighty-one people took the plunge at the 22nd annual Ness Lake Polar Bear Dip on Sunday, raising $31,858 for the Ness Lake Bible Camp.

Mark and Carol Stofer raised $11,700, on top of the $12,100 they raised last year, while a group of swimmers from Fort George Baptist Church raised $7,650.

For the first time, a group of Rocky Mountain Rangers came out and did the dip, wearing their fatigues.

Money raised from the event helps make the camp possible for families who would otherwise not be able to afford it.
