A man is in hospital being treated for what are described as serious injuries after a motor-vehicle incident on Halloween night (Oct. 31).

According to Prince George RCMP, a full-size pick-up truck believed to have struck a pedestrian by the intersection of Wiebe and Saunderson Roads near Costco around 5:40 p.m. on Saturday.

Paramedics alerted police of the collision, the driver involved had called 9-1-1 and stayed at the scene until they arrived.

In a release, Mounties believe speed and alcohol are not factors as a result of the incident.
