Prince George parents and caregivers of small children are invited to attend an upcoming car seat clinic hosted by the RCMP.
Parents are caregivers can have their car seat safety-checked by a Child Passenger Safety Educator.
Trained Child Passenger Safety Educators from Prince George RCMP and Prince George Fire Rescue Service will be on-hand to offer advice and assistance to help ensure car seats are safely and securely installed.
“This is also a good opportunity to find out if you are using the right car seat for the age, weight and height of your child, or to ask any questions you have about car seat safety,” says Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
However, this service is being offered by appointment only. Parents and care givers are asked to call the Prince George RCMP Community Policing Office at 250-561-3366, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., to reserve their time slot.
Those wanting to attend the car seat clinic are asked to know the make and model of their car seat when they call to pre-register.
