The search for 68-year-old Prince George resident Regnald Percy Waite continues despite no leads.
Waite was last seen on Aug. 23. His daughter-in-law, Teresa Grounds, tells PrinceGeorgeMatters her father-in-law is believed to have left with only his driver's licence and a debit card, which hasn't been used since Aug. 22.
His home shows no sign he would have been leaving for an extended period of time (his car is still there).
Waite is known to go for walks, hikes and bike rides, in and around the community.
Grounds says it is highly unusual for Waite to go missing unannounced and unexpectedly.
Waite is described as:
- Caucasian
- 167 cm (5'6")
- 82 kg (180 pounds); has lost weight in the past year
- Blue eyes (wears glasses)
- Grey hair
- May have been wearing "Croc" branded shoes, shorts and a tank top
Back in August, police asked that you report anything suspicious such as found clothing or bikes. So far, nothing has been reported, according to Prince George RCMP.
Cpl. Craig Douglass says there are no updates currently. Police say foul play is not suspected.
