Mounties in Prince George have charged a local man after two break-and-enters at the same business in one week.

Police say on Thursday (June 27), they received a report of a break and enter to a business near the 1400-block, Patricia Blvd.

Once officers arrived, they found a smashed window to the business but a suspect was not located.

Then on July 2 just before 10:30 p.m., Prince George RCMP once again received a report from a member of the public advising a break and enter was taking place at the same business.

Shortly after arriving, officers patrolled the area.

RCMP located 38-year-old Clayton Tyler Moll of Prince George.

The B.C. Prosecution Service has approved the following charges against Moll:

  • Break, enter and theft (Two counts)
  • Theft under $5,000 (Two counts)
  • Fail to comply with probation  (Three counts)
  • Possession of property by crime under $5,000

Cpl. Craig Douglass says Moll is currently in custody and will make his next court appearance on Wednesday, July 10.

This isn't the first time Moll has been arrested for the same crime.

Earlier this year, he was convicted of break and enter at the same business resulting in a sentence of 122 days in jail, two years of probation with a curfew condition and a condition not to attend the business.
