A woman escaped from her kidnapper and called 911 at about 5 a.m. Wednesday morning to report the crime after being held for four hours against her will by someone known to her.
A man known to local RCMP was arrested for kidnapping.
The 27-year-old male is facing charges of forcible confinement, uttering threats and other charges pertaining to the breach of his conditions.
