This weekend is not only Thanksgiving weekend, it’s John Mellencamp’s birthday – and he’s turning 67 years old.
Known for absolute classics like Hurts so Good, Jack & Diane and Lonely Ol’ Night, John Mellencamp will be coming to Prince George on Nov. 4 for his Sad Clowns & Hillbillies Tour.
To celebrate the American music legend’s birthday, the CN Centre is offering Mellencamp fans a deal on concert tickets – lowering the price to $67, which works out to be a dollar for every year of his life.
Sad Clowns & Hillbillies is Mellencamp’s 23rd studio album, which he released in April 2017.
Tickets for the show are available at TicketsNorth, but fans will need to use the promo code, birthday, to get the deal.
The deal goes live Saturday, Oct. 6 until Monday, Oct. 8 (at 11:50 p.m.).
Mellencamp is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Song Writers Hall of Fame, a Grammy Winner, and a recipient of the Americana Music Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
