No one was injured in a kitchen fire at a house on Haldi Road Saturday evening.
Prince George Fire Rescue Service crews from three halls responded to a report of a house fire in the 8000 block of Haldi Road at 7:11 p.m. on Saturday evening, according to information released by the City of Prince George.
When fire crews arrived, they found smoke billowing from the windows on the main floor. Crews first attended to the safety of the residents in the home, then contained the fire to the kitchen area.
Damage to the home was estimated at $20,000 and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
