Marking the second anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, there was a gathering held Saturday at noon between St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church and Pine Centre Mall to show support to Ukraine. There were about 100 people in attendance.
There are 314 people who have settled in the region through the efforts of Prince George For Ukraine, which is a volunteer group assisting those displaced by the war in Ukraine.
There are more than 234 displaced Ukrainians in Prince George who Prince George For Ukraine have supported in some way.
