Prince George Fire Rescue spent the morning dousing a mobile home fire on the Hart.

Crews from three halls responded to a structure fire on the 7100 block of the Hart Highway. The initial 911 call came in at 9:03 a.m. Wednesday.

Arriving crews discovered a fully involved manufactured home with both of the occupants safe and out of the structure.

Fire crews were then able to initiate a rapid attack confining the fire to the one unit with no other exposures being affected.

Both occupants from the structure were transported to the hospital and treated for smoke inhalation and no Firefighters were hurt or injured at this call.

The replacement value of the unit was estimated at $150,000 with damage to the unit being estimated to be $20,000.

Prince George Fire Rescue says the fire was caused by a candle that was burning in the bedroom of the structure.
