Prince George Fire Rescue extinguishes fire under house

There were no injuries but the building sustained $15,000 in damages

Prince George Fire Rescue crews were busy this morning (May 10). 

At about 10 a.m. crews from two halls responded to a structure fire at the 2500 block of Grant Road. Upon arrival, crews found smoke coming out from under the residence. A quick offensive attack extinguished the fire and prevented further damage. 

There were no injuries and damage is estimated to be $15,000. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
