On Oct. 20, Prince George residents will pick one mayor, eight councillors and five school trustees. The ballot will have two mayoral candidates, 13 councillor candidates and 11 school trustee candidates. There are also 15 candidates running in the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George.

Reason community would recognize your name: I have dedicated countless hours over the last 25 years with community groups as an executive member and volunteer. I have emceed hundreds of community events in the past two decades and I have been on the air in Prince George for 25-plus years.
What is the most important issue facing the School District 57, and how do you propose to deal with it?
Three main issues: capacity, catchment and classroom.
What is your specific reason for running?
I’m passionate about education. It’s so vital for our students' future success.
Where can the school board spend less?
Less money on bureaucracy and red tape.
Where should the school board be investing more?
More on our students and the support network for students. Invest in technology, resources and programming.
