The Prince George Community Foundation (PGCF) is stepping up to help resources throughout the city help the most vulnerable during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Our community is facing new and unforeseen challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic," the foundation says.
"It is at times like this where we must do all that we can to support one another."
A total of $60,000 will be given to the following three organizations in Prince George.
- St. Vincent de Paul Society Food Bank - $25,000
- The Prince George Salvation Army Food Bank - $25,000
- United Way of Northern B.C. COVID19 Relief Fund - $10,000
"These dollars will provide much-needed resources to help these organizations with their on the ground response efforts," the PGCF adds.
