Despite the warm weather and lack of snow in the Peace region, Powder King Mountain Resort has more than enough to begin the 2019-20 ski and snowboard season.
It opened Thursday, noting the hill has early season conditions but with plenty of snow and powder to go plow through. The weather on the hill today is -5 C.
