Juno Award Nominee and popular children’s entertainer Mary Lambert will be presenting a free concert at the Prince George Public Library.
Lambert will be doing her Sing Out Summer Fun themed concert at the Bob Harkins Branch on Saturday, July 2 from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
This musical performance is geared for children of all ages and also adults who are kids at heart. Mary’s concert will be filled with colourful costumes, props and lots of audience participation.
During this musical adventure, kids will learn how to do the Black Fly Boogie, how to stop the rain and why they should always, always, take their umbrella to the beach.
“We are thrilled to be hosting Mary Lambert here at the Prince George Public Library this Saturday! Her performances are a ton of fun as they are high-energy, filled with colourful costumes, and engaging music that will have kids of all ages singing and clapping along,” said Jen Rubadeau, Manager of Communications and Engagement at the Prince George Public Library.
Lambert is touring this summer through nearly 20 communities as part of our North Central and North East Library Federation Tour and we are thrilled Prince George is among the list of communities that will be able to offer this caliber of musical performance to our community, free of charge.

Lambert, is a family singer/songwriter/performer, author, and outstanding Canadian artist in the children's entertainment field. She has two Juno nominations and fifteen awards from the United States including Parents' Choice Award Winner, iParenting Award Winner, Preferred Choice Award Winner, Tillywig Best Family Fun Award, and Dr. Toy, Best Children's Vacation Product Award Winner.
Since 1993, Mary has toured and performed well over 3,500 shows at elementary schools, libraries, daycares, music festivals and family focused events throughout Canada. Mary Lambert Productions has released 11 solo CDs, and two live concert DVDs and two children's books.
