The last Citizen poll asked: Do you believe Parliament extending and expanding the mission by Canadian Forces against the Islamic State was a good idea?
The votes are in and it looks like pollsters think Canada needs to do its share to preserve global security. Or do they? Online readers took the answer yes to the top of the poll with 44 per cent of the vote for a total of 256. While 40 percent were the polar opposite, saying Canada should stay out of complicated Middle East problems with 233 votes.
Lagging behind was yes, Canada needs to do its share to help bring peace to the Middle East at seven per cent with 43 votes and opposing thought No, the Islamic state poses a minimal threat to Canadian security at eight per cent with 46 votes. Please remember this is not a scientific poll. There was a total of 578 votes tallied.
