A majority of British Columbians support a crude oil tanker ban for B.C. Coastal waters, show the results of a Mustel survey commissioned by the environmental group ForestEthics.

Of the 500 people surveyed in May 2010, 80 per cent were opposed to tanker traffic, which shows Enbridge's proposed $4.5-billion Northern Gateway pipeline faces tough political opposition, says ForestEthics.
