Prince George RCMP are requesting the public's help in locating a possible gunshot victim.
Wednesday at about 1:15 p.m. general duty officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Oak Street and Diefenbaker Ave, but a search of the area by a police service dog failed to turn up a victim. Residents in the area claimed to have witnessed an unknown male that appeared to have been chased into a nearby wooded area by two other males.
Witnesses said they heard a single gunshot before the two males fled the scene in a small blue car.
University Hospital of Northern B.C. didn't have any patients admitted with gunshot wounds during the afternoon.
The possible male victim is described as a slim male, standing at about six feet tall with a clean shaven head along the sides and back, but longer and thicker on top.
The suspect vehicle is an older modal small blue car with a hatchback, possibly a Ford Focus or a Honda Civic.
