Twelve-year-old Tylorus 'Ty' Twynman has been found safe, thanks to an alert member of the public.
At approximately 11:30 a.m. a member of the public spotted the boy walking by himself near Massey Boulevard and phoned police. Frontline officers were notified and located Tylorus.
“The Prince George RCMP wish to thank the Prince George Search and Rescue Society and the many members of the public for their assistance with locating Ty” RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Craig Douglass said. “Special thanks to the community member that recognized Ty and immediately called police.”
Tylorus was reported missing at 3 a.m. on Friday morning, after he left his home on Lansdown Road. Police and Prince George Search and Rescue members conducted an extensive search for him.
