Police are searching for a 31-year-old Prince George resident after he broke curfew in August.

A Canada-wide warrant was issued Aug. 8 after Ravinesh Jason Sharma didn't return to his designated residence, breaking the conditions of his release, according to a press release from Prince George RCMP.

Police have searched throughout the Prince George area for Sharma, but haven't found him, though there have been unconfirmed sightings.

RCMP believe he's likely in the Lower Mainland or another community, and are looking to the public at large for help. Sharma has an extensive criminal record from the Lower Mainland, state the release.

Sharma is a 31-year-old South Asian man. He's 6'2" and 170 pounds and is described as having brown hair and brown eyes. He's known to wear all red clothing, a hat and glasses.

Police are looking for tips as to Sharma's location and advise the public not to approach him as he is considered violent.
