A tractor, flat deck trailer, container, John Deere skid steer and drilling equipment were all stolen from a work site located along Highway 16 West near Isle Pierre Road.

The vandals made off with the gear sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, when the theft was reported, the release said.

The stolen equipment included:

  • A black 40' Kaufman low bed flat deck trailer bearing BC licence plate 70417D;
  • A white 'sea-can' container that was on the trailer;
  • A yellow 2010 John Deere skid steer tractor model 323D on tracks;
  • Pipes and other drilling equipment were also on the trailer.

Police say the equipment could be anywhere in northern B.C. and so are asking all communities to be on the lookout.
