Prince George RCMP released images Friday of a man suspected of passing fake American currency and the vehicle he may have been driving.
He is described as Caucasian, 20-30 years old with a medium height and build and wearing blue jeans, a blue jacket, a grey and black ball camp, black shoes and glasses. It's believed he is driving a small, dark-coloured SUB, likely a newer-model Toyota Rav 4.
He is suspected of passing counterfeit $50, $5, $10, $20 bills at stores around the city.
"Many of the bills had the same serial numbers as other bills of the same denomination," police said.
It's believe he may be traveling community-to-community and committing the same offence elsewhere.
Anyone with information on where the man can be found is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
