Prince George RCMP have release images of a man suspected of using fake identification to bilk a local bank out of thousands of dollars and are asking for the public's help to track him down.
Using the identification of a Port Coquitlam man, he made substantial withdrawals in Prince George, Quesnel and Williams Lake in August, RCMP said.
Investigators believe he travels between communities and has committed similar offences before. He may have ties to the Okanagan and the Lower Mainland.
He is described as non-white, 40-50 years old, 173 cm (5'8") tall and weighing 82 kg (180 lbs) and with short, dark hair, a mustache and goatee.
"We are confident that someone will recognize this suspect and help to further our investigation" says Cpl. Craig Douglass, spokesperson for the Prince George RCMP. "Stealing an identity is a tremendously personal crime and this individual needs to be held accountable."
