Terrace and North District RCMP have successfully arrested a 30-year-old Terrace man following a man hunt and stand off that closed Highway 16 West between Terrace and Kitwanga on Monday.
Police said the man and his father fled their rural residence near the highway using a boat. The members observed the father dropping off his son on the opposite side of a river.
