Prince George RCMP closed down a portion of Jasper Street just after midnight Friday when they were called to a disturbance in the 2400 block.
When frontline officers arrived they observed a male with a firearm on the property, RCMP said.
"Officers closed down a portion of the street and ensured that occupants of nearby homes were safe," RCMP said. "At approximately 6:15 a.m., officers were able to resolve the situation without incident. The street was reopened to traffic shortly thereafter."
