Police are investigating a drug-related shooting early Monday morning.

Responding at about 3 a.m. to multiple reports of a disturbance near the 2200 block of Victoria Street, Prince George RCMP found a man and woman suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

The two were taken to hospital and are expected to recover from what police believe was a targeted incident. The victims' names have not been released.

Prince George RCMP's serious crime unit is leading the investigation and are asking anyone who has external video cameras in the area, are asked to call the detachment at 250-561-3300.

No arrests have been made.
