Prince George RCMP were kept busy on Halloween night.
Between 6 p.m. on Friday and 6 a.m. on Saturday, police were called out 90 times.
Prince George, like all B.C. communities, sees an increase in police calls on Halloween every year, Prince George RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Craig Douglass said in a written release.
This year police arrested three impaired drivers, issuing two 90-day immediate roadside prohibitions and impounding two vehicles for 30 days, while one person was arrested under the Criminal Code.
Police also responded to 11 mischief reports, 11 cases of people causing disturbances, four Liquor Control and Licensing Act offences, 10 bylaw-related offences, five suspicious incident reports and two abandoned 911 calls.
Many of the incidents police were called to were alcohol-related, Douglass said.
Seven people were lodged in cells due to being very intoxicated, and officers had to break up "many alcohol-related fights," he said.
Officers also conducted traffic stops and checks of liquor establishments and parties with special occasion liquor licences.
