Polar Dip brings cash for kids

More than $4,000 was raised during the annual Ness Lake Bible Camp Polar Bear Dip held January 1. There were 55 people who were brave enough to take the plunge and help send children to camp who would not ordinarily be able to afford to attend.

Approximately 53 people braved the -15 Celsius temperatures to jump into the water at the 15th Annual Polar Bear Dip at Ness Lake Bible Camp on Friday. More than $4,000 was raised during the annual Ness Lake Bible Camp Polar Bear Dip held January 1.

There were 55 people who were brave enough to take the plunge and help send children to camp who would not ordinarily be able to afford to attend.

This was the bible camp's 15th annual event and temperatures registered at -15C at the time of the dip.
