The Conservation Officer Service is seeking public assistance in relation to an alleged moose poaching incident in Crescent Spur.
Early on Oct. 13, the Conservation Officer Service received a report of illegal hunting on private property in the 8000 block of Loos Road in Crescent Spur near McBride.
Residents reported hearing a gunshot and seeing two people fleeing the area. Shortly after, a dead cow moose and an orphaned calf were found.
