The Recycling and Environmental Planning Society held a plant sale on Saturday at their Compost Demo Garden.
With a large selection of plants available, there was something for everyone from those looking to plant their first garden to the seasoned green thumbs. There were perennials, herbs, hanging baskets, vines, and shrubs for sale, as well as, fruits and veggies such as tomatoes, peppers, zucchinis, broccoli, cauliflower, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
Plants were available by donation and the money from Saturday's plant sale will be going toward administration costs such as vehicle insurance, rent, and other costs associated with keeping their program running.
