The city is turning on the holiday lights on Sunday.
The 22nd annual Civic Light Up festivities will begin at 3:30 p.m. at Canada Games Plaza, with the official illumination at 5 p.m.
Among the activities on offer Sunday afternoon will be story time at the Prince George Public Library at 4 p.m., hay rides, live music and mascots, skating on the outdoor rink (weather permitting), a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus at 5:15 p.m. and holiday lantern making at Two Rivers Gallery.
The event coincides with the start of the Festival of Trees, which will be ongoing inside the Civic Centre (admission at the door).
