A passenger plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Prince George Airport on Friday afternoon.
With fire fighters, ambulance and police on standby, a Pacific Coastal flight was able to land safely shortly after 2 p.m. after the craft's pilots notified the airport's control tower that they were having issues with its landing gear indication light.
The flight was flying into Prince George from Dease Lake, Prince Airport Authority spokesperson Lindsay Cotter said.
It was the second time this week that emergency crews were called out because an airplane was having trouble with its landing gear. On Tuesday, a WestJet Encore flight headed from Vancouver to Terrace was diverted to Prince George where it landed safely.
