Pipe poll slams Enbridge

Nearly half of British Columbians are opposed to a pair of major oil pipeline projects to carry crude oil from the Alberta oil sands to B.C. ports, while only one third support the pipelines, an Angus Reid poll has found.

Nearly half of British Columbians are opposed to a pair of major oil pipeline projects to carry crude oil from the Alberta oil sands to B.C. ports, while only one third support the pipelines, an Angus Reid poll has found.

The poll was directed at Enbridge's proposed $5.5-billion project through northern B.C., and Kinder Morgan's staged project to increase the capacity of its existing pipeline to Vancouver.
