RCMP have released a photo from a security camera of a man suspected of robbing a gas station in the 5100-block of Domano Boulevard last month.

He is alleged to have walked into the business at about 9:25 a.m. on Friday, May 15 and, after producing an edged weapon, demanded cash and then fled on foot.

The lone employee was not harmed but 911 was not called immediately, delaying Mounties' response.

The suspect is described as 35 to 40 years old, five-feet eight-inches tall, with a thin build, black hair, a mustache and a few days stubble.

He was wearing a white ball hat with a black brim and a black "sporty" jacket with white shoulders and white stripes across the chest.

Anyone with information where the suspect can be found is asked to call the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), online at www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca, or Text-A-Tip to CRIMES using keyword "pgtips."
