The public is invited to take part in phase one of the Pine Valley Golf Course Extreme Makeover, which begins tomorrow, Friday, May 28, at 9 a.m.
The makeover is made possible by Friends of Pine Valley (F of PV), a group of citizens focused on preservation and re-beautification of the golf course. The goal is to clean up and reforest Pine Valley. F of PV believe it requires a fix up because it's the only community owned course and serves golfers of all levels and abilities.
Those who come to help are requested to bring a shovel, rake, gloves, pail, and garbage bags. Refreshments and hot dogs will be provided to volunteers.
