Several local charities stand to benefit after the Prince George Construction Association raised $11,300 during its annual Christmas fundraising drive.

"The support of our members for our annual Christmas fundraiser is really outstanding," PGCA president Rosalind Thorn said. "Each year our members generously contribute to this event that so positively impacts our community not only during the Christmas season but throughout the year."

The money will go to the seniors tea, PGCA denture and assistive device fund for seniors, New Life Centre, St. Vincent de Paul, Salvation Army, goodie trays for residents at Alward Place, Laurier Manor, Parkside and Rainbow Lodge Intermediate Care Homes, Prince George Hospice House, and Babies New Beginnings.
