The Prince George Air Improvement Roundtable Society will hold its second annual general meeting Tuesday.
The meeting is scheduled from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Keith Gordon Room at the Prince George Public Library main branch.
On the agenda is an overview of the latest draft plans to improve air quality, as well as an overview of latest modeling that pinpoints fine particulate sources.
PGAIR is a community-based, non-profit society focused on improving air quality in the Prince George airshed.
PGAIR is a multi-stakeholder group, with representatives from provincial, municipal and regional governments, Northern Health, industry, business and community groups, the public, and the University of Northern BC.
Through consensus-based decision making, PGAIR is responsible for developing the Prince George Air Quality Management Plan, which sets out recommendations for voluntary actions intended to improve air quality in the Prince George airshed.
