PGAIR putting on contests

The Prince George Air Improvement Roundtable (PGAIR) is hosting two contests during National Environment Week.

The Prince George Air Improvement Roundtable (PGAIR) is hosting two contests during National Environment Week.

Children ages five to 12 are invited to participate in a poster contest with the theme "Clean Air Day - Actions individuals can take to protest the air."

Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, June 6, National Clean Air Day and the two winning entries will be featured on the cover of the B.C. Ministry of Environment's annual air quality report for the Prince George airshed.

Make a post to the PGAIR Facebook wall on the theme of "Clean Air Day" with a simple action that can be taken to protect the air to enter a draw for one of three $50 gift card for a local business.

Entries can also be made by liking PGAIR on its Facebook page and the draw will be held on June 6 at 3 p.m.
