The Prince George Coliseum has been nominated as a host arena for Kraft Hockeyville 2012.
However, in order to qualify to continue to the next stage of the annual competition residents must submit photos and stories about the Coliseum to the contest website.
As of Tuesday, 71 communities across Canada had qualified to proceed to the next round of the contest. The deadline for submissions is Jan. 31.
The winning community will receive $100,000 towards arena upgrades and will host a NHL preseason game.
In 2011, Mackenzie took second place to Conception Bay South, Nfld.
