PG cabbie murderer faces charges in slaying of former cult leader

A man who is serving a life sentence for the 1985 murder of a Prince George taxi driver has been charged with murder in the slaying of a former cult leader inside a New Brunswick prison. Matthew MacDonald, 60, of Port au Port, N.L.

A man who is serving a life sentence for the 1985 murder of a Prince George taxi driver has been charged with murder in the slaying of a former cult leader inside a New Brunswick prison.

Matthew MacDonald, 60, of Port au Port, N.L., is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Roch "Moses" Theriault.

MacDonald is in prison for the second-degree murder of Danny Bryce, whose body was found in the trunk of his car parked near Paddlewheel Park. He was also serving time for manslaughter involving another inmate at the William Head Institution in 1994.
