The recent sex abuse scandal surrounding the Vatican has directed a menacing eye toward the Catholic community, especially concerning abuse protocol.
In a letter released April 14, Bishop Gerald Wiesner of the Prince George Diocese said sexual abuse of minors is "inexcusable." He also acknowledged that it was wrong to shroud the abuse in secrecy.
