After more than a week of -20C and below temps, the organizers of the 17th Annual Ness Lake Bible Camp Polar Bear Dip could not have asked for a nicer day to start off 2018. Sunshine, blue skies, and an outside temperature that hovered around -10C welcomed the roughly fifty participants to the camp, who braved the icy waters of Ness Lake, and the nearly two hundred spectators that took in this year's event.

The polar bear dip is an annual fundraiser for the camp, with all money going to the Camper Sponsorship Fund so kids who might not otherwise have the opportunity get to attend camp.
The total for funds raised were initially $6780 but thanks to a last minute donation, it was then annouced than an even $7,000 was raised. The top fundraiser this year were the Fort George Frozen Friars who raised a whopping $2,650.
