Lynn Palmer and her husband Glenn got word Friday afternoon at their Punchaw Lake home southwest of Prince George that an evacuation alert had been issued for their area.
While it doesn't mean they have to leave immediately, the Palmers were preparing to do so if needed. Lynn was taking the news in stride, packing some pictures and clothing. "It's just stuff," she observed.
