A man suffered serious injuries when he was hit by a vehicle in the 3800 block of Austin Road late morning Wednesday.
"Although the investigation is continuing, it appears that the man may have stepped out from a parked vehicle as the other vehicle was being driven by," Prince George RCMP said.
RCMP were called to the scene at about 11:15 a.m.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment while the driver remained on scene and co-operated with police, RCMP said, adding alcohol or other drugs are not believed to have been factors.
